On April 25, 2014, Ukraine International Airlines operated its first ever transatlantic flight – a non-stop scheduled service from Kiev to New York.
This service was made possible after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had transferred Ukraine back to the top category of the US’ safety criteria under the International Aviation Safety Assessment Programme (IASA) on September 19, 2013.
UIA flights to John F Kennedy International Airport are operated on Boeing 767 aircraft with three-class cabin configuration – business, premium economy, and economy.

The airline says its flight schedule suits both tourists and business travellers and, thanks to UIA’s airline partner network, it offers passengers an opportunity to travel from Kiev to New York and beyond – to Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
At Kiev’s Boryspil International airport flights arriving from New York have good connections to other UIA destinations in Ukraine, South-East Asia, and the CIS countries.
A New York – Kiev round trip economy class ticket fare (all taxes and surcharges included) starts from US$659. Moreover, passengers from New York will be able to travel to the cities of Ukraine at the price starting from 659 USD. The fares are valid for traveling through to June 15, 2014 (sale through to April 27, 2014).
