CBN Urges Bank Customers To Enroll In Bank Verification Number (BVN) Initiative and prevent closure of accounts
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with all Nigerian Banks has introduced the Bank Verification Number (BVN) as a unique identification number for all Bank customers. The Bank Verification Number (BVN) gives each Bank customer a unique identity across the Nigerian Banking industry. This can be used for easy identification and verification of Bank customers. Technology has made it possible to activate your Bank Verification Number online without visiting your bank. If you have already enrolled, all you need do is to activate your enrollment online by visiting our activation/enrollment page in the link below. If you haven't enrolled with your bank you can seize this opportunity to enroll online.

To avoid placing a hold on your account(s) and Debit Cards, please visit http://www.cenbank.org/BVN to go through the enrollment process and continue using your account(s).
